City Siting - Mapping
Acrylic, paint skin and spray print on canvas
30" x 40"
My work is very influenced by city life. Living in modern society, there is a lot of movement. Things are changing every day and there is a lot of complexity. I react to this constant and chaotic influx of stimuli infiltrating in my daily life. I paint buildings, streets, cars, windows and the noise of the street and the endless energy of the city. I bring these things into shape and give them form and color in a lot of layers. They are complicated and there is a lot of movement with dense layers, which is my experience of urban life. Through these layers, my work becomes a dense record of these scenes, moments and small shifts in perception.
