The most recent series, Art and the Box it Came In, is composed of works that are to be shown in three groups of two pieces, as couples. The body focuses on the relationships that build between the paintings and their counterparts, particularly looking at things from our day to day that we choose to keep open or closed, such as windows, cabinets, and boxes. As pieces made while in transition, the use of the box emphasizes the issues that we choose to hide or allow others to see while entering into new relationships.
