Painting manifests itself not only in the application of a medium, but in its capacity to transform. Painting is rooted in powerful processes and histories which give it a foundation of strength. However, its ability to evolve into ideas which can be readily manipulated to create areas of space, color, sound and movement only intensifies painting as a field of
investigation and discourse. Painting has developed into a living and breathing art form whose tentacles reach into numerous spheres, continually branching and expanding, ever changing.
